It's the End of the World as We Know It

Last week, I read the book "Out of Gas: the End of the Age of Oil" by David Goodstein. The book clearly makes the arguement that we will be out of oil resources within 40 years, but with our rate of growth and usage, probably sooner. Today, I find this story on Yahoo stating that all of our resources are drying up and could be gone by 2050--about the same time that Goodstein cites. Hmmm, maybe there is something to it...read on
